Exploring Wellington

Yesterday Room 7 went on a trip around Wellington. We saw a helicopter, a penguin, some statues, a very old cable car. Along the way we walked past the Beehive, Cenotaph, two cathedrals, a wharewaka, Botanical Gardens, the Prime Minister's house, lots of cute little old houses and narrow streets. We played in three different playgrounds and checked out some great playspaces. `We rode on the cable car, the train and did LOTS of walking!

  1. I had real fun helping the neat kids of Room 7 exploring, finding interesting places, and for helping me find a new view of Wellington.
The flying fox at the Botanical Gardens was great fun but best of all was the Basilica on Hill St. We all slept well after our long day.
Thanks to Mrs C and Mrs Barbalich for organising the trip.
